This morning I ran the speedy Spaniard course with Merri and Susan. My arms were tired from the get go because I went to the gym and lifted weights before meeting the girls. Taking a mental note: lifting before a run is probably not ever a great idea. Spagetti arms.

It was a little muggy. I'm a little sick of this mugginess running or not. It just feels like I can't breath as well.  The course has an uphill the first mile and it's a wee bit brutal. But after that it's a pretty good cruise. -which is what makes in one fantastic race. Love me some Speedy Spaniard.

1.35 miles on the pm.

It's actually like running in other states. I remember running in Florida felt like I was trying to run through hummus.

Yep, humid this week! So not like SL! I haven't ever heard of the Speedy Spaniard! Sounds like fun though. I love Spaghetti arms! I better lift a bit to get them before I head out for the day. :)

Humidity definitely makes for an interesting run for us desert folk. All this talk of spaghetti and hummus is making me hungry!

Well the pain is worth it. You arms look great! I better get working on my Relief society jiggle.

What? Kira is Mormon?

Burt don't believe everything you read on the internet. Spaghetti arms are better than burts shake weight arms. It's shake & bake and I helped.

Nice run, Lily. I used to lift before I ran and it always made the runs difficult.

How's the weight loss going? I have lost 7 lbs since Monday, June 27th. Feels good.

Merri you are cracking me up!

Dale it was going really good until I went to lake powell last week. So now I have a little work to do to get back. It's not much, but it'll take a good week. You are doing awesome! 7 lbs already. Wowie!

I hope I don't gain any or much weight when we go to Disneyland next month.

Just pack in the lean protein. That will help. And get your healthy fast in with your late afternoon and dinner meal.

Gotta love the lean protein. I'm eating plenty of it.
