It was kind of an unoffical RHPC 1/2 marathon today. But so fun as usual! I ran 14 with Becca (bec) RAD and Rachelle. So glad because those gals kept the wheels turning. I think we ran up the canyon faster than we ran down. We were CRUISING. We decided to run further up to the bathrooms and water near the opening up to south fork. This was my first double digi run since April. It messed with my mind bad. I kept thinking I shouldn't be doing this. But I just rolled with it, all the while wanting to jump for sheer joy at a true long run! I just love the run and the chat chat and the beautiful trail of Provo Canyon. So amazing. Last mile my body told me it wasn't ready for this distance yet. My hammy twinged a bit. So I lost the girls for the last mile while I stopped and stretched really well. And then walked/jogged the last mile back to the pavilion. I also have some major clothing chafe everywhere,YIKES! My shower here at home hurt like no other!

Yummy brunch followed the run. Thanks Kelli for the leftover Cinnamon Bread! My hubs LOVED it!

Kel has the rooster. Can't wait for next year. We need more of you out. It is a really good training run and good time. Hey Smooth so good to talk to you. You are the sweetest lady on this blog.

Double digits HOORAAY!

It is my absolute favorite place to run! Amy and I worked so hard to catch you guys on the way up, but we had to turn at mile 7 because she needed to be out of there by 8:30. Looks like you guys went up another half mile and had a nice long stop...and still we could hear you guys chattering on the way down. We were just waiting to be passed. Thank goodness you stopped for water or you would have had to take the rooster back home!

Glad he loved the bread, I came home to over a half a loaf and ate a bunch of it. I can not buy that stuff often, I LOVE IT!

HIP HIP HOORAY for double digits! Yeah, you're back running fast and strong and no stopping you baby! :)

It was so fun to see you! Has anyone ever tried to play with your gorgeous long lashes besides your hubby? :)

I'm SO glad you are back and feeling good. It was a great run with you guys (even though y'all tricked me into running too fast!).

I'm glad your hammy didn't cause any problems. I knew you had the run in the bag, but when you stopped I got really worried. I'm glad it was nothing big and you were able to finish the true long run!

watch out world...Lily is on her way back.

You ROCK! So fun to run/meet you today (again). You have some serious good things going for you if this is your first double digi since April.

I will be following you more on your blog, so be aware. ;)

It was great to run with you yesterday Lily! You did awesome with jumping right back into the double digits. The fall marathon better watch out because Lily is back. Woot woot! :)
