1 hr on the arctrainer then 44 minutes elliptical hell with Julie. Lifted weights focusing on my triceps. Heard lot's of f-bombs on the weight floor.  ;)

Still patiently waiting for my si joint to fully heal before I attempt any kind of a run. 18 days since my last one and counting. I also worry about my oxygen intake levels taking this long off. I know my lung capacity has increased greatly over the last year so...it is a worry.

It will come back, and you are working hard on the x-training so I really don't think you're losing that much. Hang in there, you will come out of this stronger if in no other way than emotionally!

Yup. fun times on the ole` FE ... brings back memories (nightmares).

Don't worry about your fitness ... your lung capacity will be fine (let's call it aerobic capacity, sounds more scientific). Your endurance will take about 1-2 weeks to work back up, but since you are cross-training so much you will be as good (if not better because a rest from the constant pounding of running is actually a good thing every-now-and-then) as ever in no time ... for me, by about week 3/4 I felt like I was right back to where I was before I took my "mini-break".

Keep it up Lily -- you rock!

I wish my lung capacity, or aerobic capacity would increase.

Nice job on the machines.

nice job on being patient. i know it's not easy.

way to keep up the cross training -- it will pay off and your running fitness will return very quickly.
