44 minutes on the elliptical high intensity intervals again. This no running really blows but there is nothing I can do right now. I am doing the smart thing. I have to keep reminding myself that. I am not full blown injured, but it was going that way, which is why I stopped. I'll be back very soon.

Doctor called and my iron level is low. (20) no wonder I felt like crap this winter running. Ugh! Iron transfusion here I come tomorrow! Lame! ha

Sorry to hear your dealing with an injury Lily (ugh!). Get that iron up and body feeling better so that you can enjoy this lovely weather. :)

We need to start meeting up for afternoon walks I think!

99.9% of the issues people deal with on this blog can be summed up under "low iron and hamstring strains"

Go eat an Ostrich!

I'm still smarting from your insulting comments about a cleaning product icon...and your ostentatious remarks about your natural bronze skin to feel as much compassion as I might have otherwise for your low iron levels.

Awee Scott I'm sorry! I'm kidding you! If it makes you feel better, your one if the sharper looking guy bloggers. Hey, Jake shaves his head. He's bald and just as handsome. No stress my bald friends. :-)

OK, now I feel compassion :-) I honestly go through chemical withdrawals without the daily run--I get a bit cranky.

BTW - I agree that Jake is handsome :-)

A little time off now is better than a lot of time off later, I always say. Keep up the good work (and sweating). :-)

You caught it early. This will be good:) go iron lady!! U wil feel better. 2 years ago my level was 5. I could barely move. Last march it was 10... too late cause i already injured myself. Dr wants more tests.......5oo expensive but i dont absorb oral iron. I may be joining u. In denial. Infusions arent cheap.

They are iron rich!

From Carina on Wed, Mar 13, 2013 at 20:17:00 from 204.15.86.83

Way to be smart lily!! I've heard that it takes an amazing amount of iron to be awesome, that explains all of our low iron ;)

From seeaprilrun on Thu, Mar 14, 2013 at 11:05:58 from 68.102.189.33

yikes on the iron! mine was at 26 and that made me feel exhausted--but it was fixable with lots of constipating supplements and beef. You will feel beter when it is up!
