I think the trail race finally caught up to me. My hammy's felt tight this morning and my heels and arch are both hurting on each foot. Maybe it was a bad idea to Sunday sin yesterday. I should have just taken things easy.

This morning I went to the gym at 4:40 and worked on the eliptical for 45 minutes then lifted a tiny bit and worked my core. Then I left and came home to run outside. I wanted to run longer but I just didn't have time. Ran 6.32    avg pace 7:43 sllloooooow. Will I pull of a great time at the Provo river 1/2 on Saturday? I am doubting it with this muscle tightness and lack of higher mileage. Will I try? You betcha.

*pm update ran 2.68 miles up Canyon road in head wind. It was hard. I gave up at 1.25 miles and turned around and ran back down the hill. So tired now. Sleepy sleepy.

Wow...why so early? Morning person or schedule constraints?

From Lily on Mon, Aug 02, 2010 at 10:07:59 from 67.199.181.73

Thanks Allie! :)

Chatherine both. I am a morning person but my husband also likes to leave to work by 7ish. I guess I can ask him to go in a little later. The sun doesn't seem to be coming up as early as it was. Sure sign that fall is coming.

You're right Allie. I don't know what I say anything above a 7:30 is slow. My husband always get's after me for saying that. I just like to stay consistent with a faster pace more like 7:10's 7:20's.

Sucky about the hammy and foot pain. Stretch, and Ibuprofen! :)

You are going to rock the race on Sat.
