Long run alone today. I wasn't sure how far I was going to go. The first 3 miles it was dark so I wore my headlamp. I dropped the lamp on my lawn after the first loop. 2nd loop I picked up the speed a little more. After the 2nd loop I was 7.2 miles in. I stopped at my house for 2 minutes. Needed a drink, a gel chew with caffeine, and 1 little powerbar cookie chew. Off again for 3 more loops of 3.5 miles each. I saw Merri and Susan at 8.40, then at 10.5 I saw McKenzie and Aubrey. Fun.

around miles 9-18 I really picked up the pace. I'll post splits. The avg pace for all 17.75 was a 7:35. Not lightening fast but pretty good for a long training run.

Splits: 8:21,7:49,7:37,7:49,7:53,7:32,7:28, 7:43,7:26,7:13,7:15,7:31,7:32,7:32,7:31,7:29,7:35,5:42

Nice run! I couldn't pass my house that many times on a long run, I don't have the will power to keep going. I need to run far away leaving myself no other option than to run back :)

Wow speedster! Wait to go. And I am with Rattletrap, I could never run past my house that many times and keep going. I have to run far far away. :)

Wish we had started together. Your miles were faster than ours! I usually go long on wednesdays and saturdays so if you ever want to hook up, email or txt me!

Try running past Merri's mobile home. It moves around a lot.

AWESOME PACE LILY. seriously not very motivated to run that fast on a long run unless it is by force-- running with fast friends. Those loops make it comforting to know you could stop at anytime if you wanted. At least that is what helped me thru a 20 miler I did by running 20 one mile loops around my house the week before SGM a few years back. You always had water, you could a snack and you have a bathroom that is inside :D. TWO THUMBS UP!! LOVE IT!!

That's lightning fast for me!!! Awesome job. Maybe that's how I should do my long runs, just loops back to my house. Then I wouldn't need to carry anything
