Ran 2. today. Not much, but this was all speed on/offs. They feel way easier now than they did 5-6 weeks ago. Fitness is gaining. Oxygen is taken in easier. Turnovers are smoother. I feel strong.

Thought I would share how I am feeling since having my hormones tested. I went on armour thyroid In August, testosterone, progesterone, DHEA and Vitamin D3. I cannot begin to try to explain in words how much better I feel now. I later found out that my adrenals were fatigued as well from taking smaller doses of caffeine everyday before workouts. Not a good idea, so if you do this, think about the damage you could be causing your adrenal glands. The lack of running, and more resting that I did this summer helped heal my adrenals.Anyway, I don't feel tired all day anymore. I feel strong when I run. Something that was missing this last spring.I knoew something was up! But I feel like I will only progress from here on out. I have only run 2 marathons, barely dabbling in  this distance. I'm a marathon rookie and have only begin to scratch the surface of what I know my body is capable of doing. I need to dig deep and find the next gears. It takes courage because those gears are going to be a lot of work..

I'm running 8-9 miles tomorrow outside. If anyone wants to join I am up for it.

Oh this post makes me so happy Lily. I am so glad you are feeling better and have things all figured out. I absolutely agree that you have barely scratched the surface in the marathon distance and you have so much potential! I cannot wait to see what lies ahead for you come Spring.

Hooray for feeling better!! What about caffeine after a workout? Does that make a difference?

You are going to ROCK you next marathon because you don't give anything less than your BEST! Go Lily!

Good to hear you're feeling better and getting stronger. You are prime for a really good 2013. Next time you and Jun run the trails I'll join ya.

Nice job with the speedwork, that's got to be a great feeling to feel strong.

That's fantastic that you're feeling so well Lilly! I'll bet that's a relief. It will be exciting to see how your training progresses.
