Ran some river trail with Rachelle and Kira this morning. We were joined by Jessica and her husband who are both on the blog as well, but just track mileage.

We had some fun chit chat. We kept our pace around an 8:30 recovery pace. It was great for me since I am still somewhat babying this calf. I find myself staring out the window during the day and getting teary because I want to try harder. I can't get past thoughts that I am capable of so much. But I need to learn patience in this time until it is 100%. And it won't get 100% with me pushing and pushing. It is in my nature to push when running. It's what makes me feel accomplished and free.

Jessica was wearing the Brooks purecadence. Super sweet shoes! I am totally getting some!

I ran one more mile a little bit later with some speed on/offs. felt good.

After our run we were standing around for a few talking. Without thinking I took one of my energy cookie balls and bowling ball rolled it into the street. It was random and made us all laugh. Rachelle's face was hilarious! I do weird things sometimes! I decided to go get it out of the road before my husband ran it over later, then complained about the slob that dropped their cookie in the road. he he

Fun run that day. I hope your calf gets better. We should run again. That was funny when you threw the cookie. I was like "was that your cookie?!?!?!" I thought it was a rock. Who throws away cookies??? hehe.
