Running on little sleep today. Went to sleep at midnight, woke up at 4:30. Today I will most definitely need a nap.

Worked on the eliptical for an hour and a half. Lifted weights as quick as I could, worked core as quick as I could. Bought a protein bar and a drink at the pro shop. Outa there.

Knee's are sore. Why is this? I never have problems with my knees. It's 7:20 and I've already taken 800 mg ibuprofen, worked out, stretched and showered. Nice.

Percocet? :) It sounds like you really need some rest. I hope you get a nice long nap today.

Yeah, I would go with possibly a little over use. Enjoy the downtime. Not sure what you mean about Ibuprofen. Is it not a daily supplement? Ha.

LOL, I see what you mean now. I don't take ibuprofen very often, I guess I was telling certain ppl that I was already on top of that- taking something for my knees. It's just weird because they never hurt and they are today? So.... are you ready for your crazy race? Any fears?

I hope you get a nap in today. My advice for sore knees would be to run more trails. This may sound foolish, but roads can be brutal on your joints.

Don't know much about knee pain, but I hope it's just a fluke thing today. :)

oh... the dreaded knee pain - it's a pain... You're fine - just focus on how to dismantle the rest of the field on Sat. Also I agree with Twinkies...trails to roads any day, except right after a rain storm and a herd of something has turned the trail into a pile...
