That last two days have been rough. It's not normal having to pick your thigh up just to move it, or ask for some help to sit down to pee, or hold onto the walls when your quads buckle out of nowhere. LOL! I went on a walk around the block last night to try and help move some of the lactic build up through. It must have helped a little since I was able to hobble into the gym this morning. I got to the gym around 5:15 and worked on the eliptical for and hour and 30 minutes. There's a man there named Scott who I am friends with. He noticed me walking funny. He said: "are you hurt"?  I just laughed and told him I'd tell him next time we ran by each other. After all, it was kind of crazy of me wasn't it? -running down a steep rocky trail at full speed. It didn't hurt at the time but this after pain is rough stuff. Still, it was a good experience and I had fun.

But I'd give anything to feel normal again.

Oh have to mention, I swear my quads doubled in muscle size. Think I like my distant runners tone better then this super rock hard look. Just my preference anyways.

I'm laughing out loud in my office.

I hope we didn't ruin you. Think how strong you're going to be once your legs have recovered. And don't worry about them getting all huge and muscly, they'll be just like normal, but wicked-strong. Feel better, you have 10 miles a day to start up again.

Poor Lily. I was sitting on the potty at Subway on the way home and I noticed my calves were twice the size they usually are. I wanted to run out and show everybody.

Jun I hope you're right! :) I'm not ruined, just my quads :) ha!

Burt are you sure it wasn't something else that doubled in size that you wanted to run out and show everyone? LOL!

Lily- Your last comment. Ahahaha!

You need to join us more often and the pain will become less and less. Hope to see you out there again soon. That was fun.
