Who is that lovely blond in the picture you have up ? I think its time to go back to the track and take some updated pix.. what do ya say??? I dont know if SGM qualifies you or not. but Ill cross my fingers for ya!

Registration for Boston 2012 opens on September 12th. While SGM 2011 would technically qualify you for Boston 2012, it will most likely be sold out by then.

I agree with Andy.

Nice run, Lily!!!

From jtshad on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 17:47:26 from 204.134.132.225

For the 2012 Boston Marathon, registration will begin on Monday, September 12 at 10:00 (ET) and will close on Friday, September 23 (5:00 p.m.)

So, STGM 2011 will not work to qualify for Boston 2012.

Ah shooty!!!

Ok Andy and JT, maybe you guys can start throwing out some Boston 2012 qualifying marathons that I can run in August or Sept. Any ideas? I'm in Utah, so nothing to to far away :)

Just a few hours of driving time. :)

From Teena Marie on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 20:08:38 from 67.2.101.26

Btw, I think you could take the whole thing! Really. I took 8th last year with a 3:32.

From DaleG on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 22:46:14 from 152.216.7.5

I'm registered for Des News marathon, but who knows if I'll be able to run it.

From Lily on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 22:46:53 from 67.199.178.210

Des news hmmm, I have been thinking about this one. Not sure if I could pull of a great time. Of course I believe I would qualify but I wanna run closer to the 3 hr mark. Whatdya think Allie? Do I have enough time to be prepared?

From Lily on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 22:48:15 from 67.199.178.210

Dale I hope you can!

From DaleG on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 22:48:19 from 152.216.7.5

I'm not Allie, but I bet you could be ready. You're very fit.

From DaleG on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 22:49:01 from 152.216.7.5

I really want to run it.

From DaleG on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 22:51:54 from 152.216.7.5

I'm also signed up for the Logan Peak run (28 miler) this Saturday, but there is no way, no sir, no how.

From Lily on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 22:53:48 from 67.199.178.210

What's goin on with you Dale? Just still trying to come back after that dreaded fracture?

From allie on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 23:01:35 from 24.10.191.18

pound some downhills and get a couple of long runs in then see how you feel about it. you have a solid base right now and i think you would do well. 4.5 weeks to go. i'm planning on running it...maybe...

From DaleG on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 23:03:09 from 173.116.66.164

Oh, I'm over the stress fracture. Now I'm dealing with the dreadedd metatarsalgia. It's been hurting something fierce. Causing me to limp. I have had it for a few months now and I've been trying to run through the pain, but it keeps getting worse and worse. I made some inserts for my shoe to take the pressure off the metatarsals. It seems to be working. I'm able to walk without limping.

From Burt on Wed, Jun 22, 2011 at 23:35:37 from 72.223.90.79

Oh my gosh Kira, you're so short!

From RAD on Thu, Jun 23, 2011 at 00:34:35 from 98.202.17.113

My vote would be for Pocatello. It is a great downhill course and you would have a little more time to prepare well and have a good strong base to hit a 3hr goal. Plus, like Teena said, it's a small race - you might just take it!
