okay, so I'm a bad blogger...I admit it. I'm sorry Lily, but I have to say something is going around! What the heck?!? I hate this summer too. It started out well, but honestly after AF for me everything went downhill and I can't seem to pull myself out of the injury/motivation hole I'm in!

Injuries suck rocks and especially when all we want to do is to do our best. I hear ya on the family thing you talked about last week, but I still just want a nice run. Remember when they used to be fun, easy things and we looked forward to them? yeah...dreams right now...dreams.

Anyway, long post to tell you, I'm feeling you! What made you finally go to the doc about the Thyroid? I keep thinking I'm just depressed because I don't want to do anything and am tired all the time. But, then I think it is just because I'm not getting my running high like normal. I don't know. Anyway, just thought I'd ask.

So sorry about the sore shin Lily! Can all of us girls get together and have a nice easy jog please. I think thats what I miss most this Summer are the fun chatty runs. :)

That said are you both on an iron supplement and B vitamins? I started taking both after Boston when I was feeling so fatigued I could barely get out of bed in the morning and it has really helped.

RAD sorry you're struggling too. Yes, my thyroid is low. I started taking a medication called armour thyroid. I looked at the bottles this morning and realized I have been taking one pill a day, and I am supposed to be taking 2 pills. Opps!! No wonder I haven't felt much different. My shin is hurting bad today. If it bugs me after the run, then something is up. Oh man. I am so sad this summer. Oh well :(

Rachelle, I got so excited when you said lets run. But today my shin is really hurting. I am thinking I need to take time off AGAIN. WTF?!?! Seriously, worst year ever. I will start resting tomorrow for 15 days again. I can't believe this is happening to me this year. Buuuuut, next time you go to yogurtland, count me in. Maybe I can drag Kira along :)

Hey lily, how are you feeling after a few days off? I sure hope next year treats us better.

From Lily on Sun, Aug 19, 2012 at 19:17:54 from 67.199.178.95

Eeeeeeh Dale, I feel a little better. I ran 3 miles this morning and my leg didn't bother to much. I think it needs more time off. I'm just bewildered but over it at the same time.... If that makes any sense. How are you doing?

From DaleG on Sun, Aug 19, 2012 at 19:34:20 from 66.87.66.120

It makes perfect sense. I'm doing pretty good, but I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow. That's what I get for taking two weeks off for our disneyland vacation. But who feels like running after walking around all day between disneyland and California adventure? Not me. Lol
