9.00

Ran 9 miles, first 35 minutes were not any faster than an 8:40 pace. Next 35 minutes were around a 7:25 pace. I feel like someone needs to physically remove me from the tm! I can't stop running and I'm only supposed to do 7 at most a day. eeeeekkkkk!

20 minutes of elliptical hell that followed. A few weights. I have a cold and it's making feel like total crap. I need a slice of cake

Moderation in all things... Or excess whichever comes first I guess. Feelin good?

From Scott Wesemann on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 11:46:53 from 66.239.250.209

You need a Dunford chocolate donut... or two.

From jun on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 11:48:12 from 66.239.250.209

Moderation, what's that?

From Scott Wesemann on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 11:54:28 from 66.239.250.209

It's like moderbation.

From Lily on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 12:07:01 from 67.199.178.210

hahaha! Jun and Scott...my fav FRB'ers. You two crack me up.

Oreo I feel aight'. I still have a bit of a pull in my arse muscle, but it doesn't hurt so why stop? I didn't run for nearly 2 months straight so I say screw that. I will run!

For the record. Most times when I say I need a slice of cake, I am just messing. I never actually do it. There's a lady who lives down my street a few blocks that recently dropped a good whopping 80 lbs, and a few times on FB I will write that I am having a rough day and I need a slice of cake or whatnot, and she gets all frazzled and says things like: 'or just go take a nice walk, sew an article of clothing, lay down for a rest instead. Don't turn to food.' Teehee, it's kind of funny because anybody that knows me would know that I am just playin'.

confession: but after running TOU, that next week Julie and I got 4 packs of giant cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting, from the local grocery store. I think we both ate all 4 to ourselves. ha

From jun on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 12:13:47 from 66.239.250.209

My response was far too inappropriate for the site, so I sent it to you and Scott via email. Ha.

From Merri on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 12:15:36 from 160.7.252.148

you deserve a whole cake for all that working out!

From Oreo on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 13:09:37 from 206.81.136.61

Moderation is the process of eliminating or lessening extremes. It is used to ensure normality throughout the medium on which it is being conducted.

Which most of us don't ascribe to...

From DaleG on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 14:24:18 from 67.2.10.194

Moderation Shmoderation. Awesome run today. You'll be back to your super speedy self in no time. When you can't run for so long, it makes you appreciate it all the more when you CAN run. I miss it...A LOT

From RAD on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 15:53:36 from 67.172.229.125

Love the run - AND cake! But, dunford doughnuts are better. Scott just ruined them for me though by telling me how many calories were in them a while back, so I have a hard time eating them now :( Thanks Scott! (sarcasm from my taste buds and mental health, real thanks from my thighs!)

From RivertonPaul on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 17:52:21 from 67.42.27.114

Jun, I like that you didn't share your response here as we can all speculate to ourselves now. Speculation is wonderful. :)

From Scott Wesemann on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 19:11:37 from 66.239.250.209

Sorry Rad. haha.

From melanieb on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 19:18:33 from 75.169.193.239

So happy to see you running again!

From Lily on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 21:15:11 from 67.199.178.210

Merri I wish I could eat a whole cake! yumo

Oreo I actually believe in moderation in all things. The one think I have trouble with is running. Go figure!

Dale hang in there! You know that I know how it is! It's not cool.

RAD I am totally hooked on dunford. And now that I know how many calories are in each thanks to Scott, I don't eat them very often at all. They are dangerous!

Riverton, the response was classic. And....poor Scott. LOL

Melanie hello! :) I am feeling so much better. I am just trying to get back up to par without reinjuring. This is SO hard! I want to run faster but my muscles kind of say no, and my Dr. told me not to run to much. I don't want to land right back where I was. I would be so sad. What was that place you were telling me about in Lehi for massages and the girls name again? I am going to try it out!

From Bonnie on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 21:21:38 from 150.135.115.77

Lily -- so very nice to see you back!! A happy Lily is a happy blog.

From Lily on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 21:24:42 from 67.199.178.210

Thanks Bonnie. You know, it is quite amazing how much happier I am overall in my life for the past week since I have been back up running. I had forgotten how heavily I relied on it as a source of everyday joy. I won't take it for granted again.

Hop on over to my blog anytime. I love to interact with you all. I ♥ the FRB.

From melanieb on Thu, Mar 03, 2011 at 22:19:50 from 75.169.213.202

i am so glad you are back running and feeling good again. next step: river trail. and maybe we can visit those llamas again.

From Lily on Fri, Mar 04, 2011 at 00:24:28 from 67.199.178.210

Thanks Melanie. I will make an apt!

Allie, hahaha that convo right before they fired the musket was awesome. Everybody talking about what they were going to eat after burning all those calories. LOL. Best race ever. Best summer ever. Let's do the river trail loop soon. It's fun. Merri and I like to run it in the dark and talk about Aliens and lions, or cougars that follow the river down from the mnts.

From Teena Marie on Fri, Mar 04, 2011 at 01:11:23 from 67.2.100.67

So so so so happy for you, Lily!!! :)
