Strength trained at for about 20 minutes. I really don't like hanging with the meat heads so much.

Then 40 minutes of elliptical, where I had to pep talk myself into running in the cold outside. It took a lot of will power to walk past the treadys today and drive home to run on the trail. It just felt so cold. But I am glad I did, it turned out to be a really good feeling run. Cold but I got out at 6:15 to 7:15 and so I saw sunrise and it was light enough to ditch the ugly headlamp. Hate that thing! Yesterday it left an ugly red line across my forehead. Anyway, 7.25 miles on the trail and gallivanting in my hood'.

The sun coming up early is throwing me off, especially without my watch I keep thinking it's later than it is!

Don't worry, on Sunday they are going to steal the light away from us again.

One VERY good reason I want to move to Arizona where they are smart enough to do away with daylight savings!

Ugh, the time change. If it were up to me, I would say flip forward Sunday and never touch the clock again. Back in the dark on Monday. I complain about this every year. Dang it!

Sorry to ruin your day! It is very upsetting.

It was much colder than normal this morning. But the sunlight is definitely nice while we have it for like 2 more days.

Let me know if you want to run tomorrow. :)

Nice run! It's March, hopefully fewer and fewer cold runs (and ugly headlamp runs). :)

From RAD on Tue, Mar 05, 2013 at 12:53:31 from 76.27.82.202

Heaven help us when that change comes. The light of morning simply taunts us now! Next week, we will be back to the wishing and hoping table. Stinks. More ugly headlamp runs :(

I think you did a good job today Lily. You are strong for getting out into the cold darkness after being in the warm gym with the meat heads.

There is one particular meat head at my gym that continues to tell me I don't run correctly. I tell him I run 10 miles on the TM and he tells me that only really equates to 5 miles... He is HUGE and I don't know why he would ever give advice to any runner.
