This morning I got to sleep in till 6:35, I only ran 6 miles today. I did do the eliptical for 17 minutes. Then it was home. My hubby is home today to have a famous surgery. I'm a little torn up over it. :(

Correct! I am too, but it's a little hard to grasp.

Good luck!

I know. I did it a couple of years ago. In fact, I blogged about it. But I'm sure you didn't make this all important decision on a whim. You probably prayed about it and stuff. For me, knowing that I'd never have a biological son was tough, but after having a baby with Down's, I knew we were done.

Ouch!! Had that done a few years back and it wasn't pretty. The first day was the worst, so take care of him and give him a lot of sympathy. Poor guy. Sleeping in to 6:35? I still have 2-3 REM cycles to go at 6:35. ha.

Hope the surgery went well! Very bitter sweet situation I am sure. I can see that maternal side of you being a little torn, but oh baby how nice it'll be not to worry about it down the road :) Hope it went well!! Nice mileage also. Lately 6 miles is on the high end of my running so it's funny to hear you say "only 6 miles", pretty impressive to me girly! Nice job~

Thanks guys, surgery went well. Honestly, he said for the first 8 hours it felt like someone was kicking him over and over in the jewels. But it's all good now. He was up and at em today. It will be a relief not to have to worry about getting prego. I am the sickest of the sick when I am pregnant.

Kellie- I may run a lot of miles each week, but I still haven't run a full marathon and you have! I am jealous of you. You've done a few now. I don't know that I'll ever have the guts to do one either. You're my hero.

From Merri on Wed, Mar 03, 2010 at 22:27:35 from 160.7.252.148

You could do a marathon no problemo! :) By the way St. George increased its # of runners, but it also increased its price. I know Lyns wants to do a marathon this year, you two should do it.
